With construction starting, what is going to happen to the Kane County Dog Park?

Access to the south end of the Kane County Dog Park will be closed; the City of St. Charles will be installing a permanent fence along the north side of the proposed Red Gate Bridge.  Once construction is completed, access to the southern portion of the existing Kane County Dog Park will be accessible through the proposed boardwalk which will traverse the western side of the Fox River.
