Project Update: Sept. 26

During the week of September 16 through September 22, Herlihy has been working on the Red Gate bridge over the Fox River Trail. The pile driving was completed and the abutments were poured. Earthmoving and embankment operations continue on both sides of the river. The tree removal for the project is now complete.

 In the next week, the slopewalls for the bridge over the Fox River Trail will be poured. The beams for the bridge are scheduled to be set on Tuesday, September 27. Earthwork and grading operations will also continue. Finally, some of the permanent landscaping seeding will be placed on the areas that are complete.
